If you are only starting in wedding videography, you should be aware of the various shots that you have to include on your checklist. Of course, you can always have your way in terms of how you do the overall presentation. But it will help you edit faster and easier if you will be able to capture the vital angles of the events and you need to do it spontaneously because the event is only happening once.

You can add all the effects that you want and are available on the software programs that you will use for the presentation after you have gathered all the required shots of the event. If you are unsure about the matter, here's a checklist that you can look at as you begin your task.

1. Go to the venue where the bride and her bridesmaids are getting prepped up. You must be there early so that you can take shots of every important happening that is taking place here. Take a shot of the whole place. You should also capture on your camera the things that the bride is going to use for the event. As you begin shooting, you must also try to play on your mind how you are going to edit the documentation. This way, you will be able to strategize on your angles and on the effects that you would aim to achieve with each shot that you are going to create from this point forward.

2. You can also ride with the bride on the car to capture her emotions as she gets near to the church. You must make sure that she will look her best at the shots that you are doing because you have to remember that this is her day. She is your client and her approval means a lot to your and on your business.

3. Before the event starts at the church, you must capture the exterior of the venue. This way, your clients will have a souvenir as to how the church where they had their vows looked like on their special day. After you have captured the exteriors, you must take all the effects inside the venue. You must make sure that your clients will get the whole notion as to how other people perceived their wedding venue.

3. You should be there where the event is happening as the wedding is taking place. Take shots of everybody present. Capture the groom as they are pinning boutonniere on him. You must be there when the guests are starting to arrive and as they get escorted down the aisle. You must also take a shot of the bride's limo and as she is taking off the vehicle. It will be best if you will be able to shoot the entire process. Any way, you can simply edit out the scenes that you won't need when you are already at this phase.

4. You must make sure that you capture on your camera emotional moments that will happen during the event. This is vital to add human touch on your presentation. Even if you intend to edit the video in a comical way, it will help a lot if you are going to include moments that are priceless and worth noting about.

As you last in the profession of wedding videography, you will be able to grasp the techniques and strategies that will help you succeed in the industry.
